2203 Promenade Blvd
Rogers, Arkansas 72758
Come see our loving pugs up for adoption. email pugrescuenwa@yahoo.com for more info. We are a devoted group of people who appreciate the uniqueness of a pug. Their motto is “A lot of Dog in a Small Space”. We understand their special challenges, their medical problems and know that they are not the right dog for every family. They shed, they snore, they sneeze and they are prone to eye injuries. They also snuggle and love their humans with all that they have.
We are all ‘Pug Nuts’! Through a variety of circumstances, pugs end up as strays, in Shelters or are owner-surrenders due to no fault of the dog. We take ANY pug in need, return them to the best health possible and work to find them the perfect ‘FOREVER’ home for that particular dog. Website is http://pugrescuenwa.typepad.com/

Lonoke County Search and Rescue K9 Unit is an all volunteer 501c3 charity organization. We formed as a Unit in 2004 and became a 501c3 organization in 2010. All necessary training, certifications and equipment are paid for by each volunteer. We will hold fundraising activities to support our goals to lessen the burden on each volunteer.
Lonoke County Seearch and Rescue K9 Unit personnel give safety talks, Lost but Found Safe, to primary school children and children in summer library programs. We were invited this year and spoke on K9 SAR at the Arkansas Attorney Generals Law Enforcement Summit. The Attorney General's office also invited us to partake in his annual Children's Safety day and to attend his Missing Childrens ceremony May 2009 and 2010. We have trained with the local FBI at their request.
We are currently working with a K9 Master Trainer, a 6 month program for the K9's to learn how to find drowned persons at a cost of around $14,000.00. We traveled to the east coast to train under Joe Canfield, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children K9 Director and regularly travel to Texas for our Bloodhounds to continue training in Scent Discrimination Man Trailing.
We travel the State of Arkansas on rescue missions and plan on continuing to educate our citizens, participate and respond to search and rescue/recovery missions when requested.

A Prayer for the Animals
~An Official Arkansas Week for the Animals event~
Join those of us who would like to observe a moment of prayer and/or moment of meditation for the precious animals. We are requesting this, if possible, from 5-6 pm Central time Sunday, October 23, 2011.
This is a multi-faith observance.
We can offer prayers, poems and memorials to our animal, pet or all animals wherever we are and even light a candle by doing so.Wherever you are, if you can observe a moment for the animals who need us...that collective energy will surely grow and bring light to our cause to love, assist and help them from any and all suffering. For poems, ideas and quotes, http://www.animalworldusa.org/Inspiration.html
